Hello Paul
Many thanks for the offer of a scope,but I would probably not know how to use it (by the way I am near Newcastle) as my electronic experience might just go as far as changing the battery on the car.
I have to adopt the attitude of replace what I think is u/s, use a little bit of common sense ( pity I had not used some when I coupled the board to the power supply) and try again.
I had a look in the RS cat but I think Non Inductives started at 1R0, anyway I asked them if they could get OHMITES or a direct replacement, that was a week ago and I have not heard from them, so assumed that they can't.
I am going to ring Farnell to see if they have the two ICs that I need for each axis,so I will ask them about the resistors.
