My 2 cents on EMC and linux...

if you're going to install a prepatched kernel it MUST be built for
specific kernel you have, ie,
Redhat 6.2 has kernel 2.2.14 so you must use rtlinux-2.2.

My setup:
-Redhat 6.2, kernel 2.2.4
-Rtlinux 2.2a
-emcsrc-11-Aug-2000
