Al:
I also purchased, and am assembling, the Camtronics board for a Sherline
mill. Since it appears that you've already been through that part of the
exercise, could you pass on any advice. I decided to use the Sherline motors
and coupling kit. The motors because they're double ended and the coupling
kit because everyone here seems to think that it's the best if you're using
a Sherline.
What kind of heatsinks and airflow do you use on the power drivers for the
Camtronics unit?
How do you have the board and power supply mounted? (I'm going to try
getting a surplus regulated supply if the price is right - not because I
need the regulation but because it's one thing that I won't have to build)
Is there anything else I should be asking?
Thanks,
