Weyland,

This group will help you along your way. Lately, a lot of discussion has
been regarding the installation of a machine control program called EMC,
being developed by the federal gov't to run on PC's with an operating system
called Linux. It is paid for by the US taxpayers, and so is in the public
domain. For many of us, learning this operating system is a challenge, thus
all the emails on it. Don't become overwhelmed by this EMC, Linux
correspondence. Usually the correspondence will be more meaningful to a new
user than it has been of late. I am sure others will respond to your
inquiry anyhow.
