I've been able to import DXF files made with Intellicad-2001 into the "OEM"
version of VectorCAD. Is this one of Fred's "gifts" to the group?

| Hi Al,
|
| Vector CAD/CAM can import DXF's, but not the CAD-only vers. If you have
| a simple file with polylines, and possibly another one with splines, I
| or someone could try an import into Vector CAD/CAM and let you know how
| it goes (I seem to be digging into DXF's at the moment)!
|
| To learn Vector, follow all the examples in the fine manual (print it
| out if you need to), and get the feel for how each line is a vector,
| I.E., has direction as well as a pair of endpoints. Kinda like thinking
| of your "cuts" as you go along. I enjoy it!
