I dropped CCS a long time ago over their update policy and some serious bugs
they had which they of course tried to blame on everything but their code.

I prefer the Bytecraft MPC compiler. I like it a lot better than Hi-Tech and
it's running
16F877 code out there right now in commercial products I've designed on
contract.

Bytecraft has not charged me for an update yet. I have expected it for the
last 4 years, but still no charge.

I'm big into Assembly language as well but do most of my PIC development in
C with Bytecraft.
