Stupid guy question coming... How many wires
*typically* come from the motor itself on a servo?
(so I can try and figure out what I'm looking at when I get it)
Yep, he sells and services copiers, printers, and fax machines.
Been doing it for 30+ years.
He found this one (and the others) in his parts bins.
The steppers he got me (85 oz/in) come out of HP LaserJet II's and III's.
The previously mentioned 5 wire DC gearmotor was out of an unknown copier,
used to drive the gear train and squirrel cage fan.
This possible servo, he has no idea where it came from.
He just called me and read the stuff to me and described it.

My intention is that if he finds stuff for me that I can use,
to find out where it came from and let everyone know
where to get them. (i.e. - what machines they came out of and such)
Hopefully, this will save people money.
(like knowing the steppers come out of the HP's)

I saw them advertised for $40 each, and he says if someone's
got them in their shop they would probably sell one to ya for about $10.

Thanks for your help,
