Hi Ir. Peter
Just yesterday I got reminded to several paste packing devices I made
some 10 years ago. The catalysator of car body epoxy had to be bottled in
small bottles with a really narrow neck. Well, still 3 old car engine oil
pumps do the job. 15 turns and a bottle is full.
Luckily meanwhile I have more serious jobs to fulfill, but frequently
it is a MUST in Costa Rica to improvise.
Last year I built a remote control for a winch to unload coffee cherries
from the trucks (pulling a 1m*1m shovel) out of a radio control of a kids RC
car.
Uuups Yankees:
I was quality assurance engineer in a US Electronics company for
2 1/2 years. Never there was enough money for well done jobs.
so more than one fixture, jig or tool I made out of our junk yard.
With the result that the owner's son always picked on me:
"Sven, if I ask you for a reeth boat, why You always have to build me
a Bismarck battleship."
Anyhow my stuff still works. While their stuff is - out of question - dead
for years.
Well I am a little sad not to have the time to participate
in your competition. Although I never heard of the program,
I liked the idea very much. So much, that my wife asked what
I was laughing about.
Good Luck and have fun.
In two days I have to leave for to work in Germany for 8 days.
So I will be off line for some days.
Bye
