Smoke,
I'll back up Chris on this one... the Antares engraving cutters do a very
good job... I successfully run them at 10,000RPM and 2.0"/min feed...
sometimes in gummy material I have to do a second pass to clean up the
cut...

No, never even considered using a single flute cutter.
As an off hand GUESS, I'd think it wouldn't help.
The spindle speed is 6000 RPM and the cutter diameter is only 1/8.
