RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] R8 Snap Change

Yes, I have this system on one of my mills. I have it off right now (good
timing) and I'll try to get some pictures of it tomorrow. I have it off
because I didn't have enough tool holders for it to run the current job on
the mill. It uses only the quill motion to lock and unlock the tooling.
There's no air or hydraulic connection. The Snap-Change works well and sure
does save a great amount of time over R-8 drawbar tooling. I have just
finished the lathe work on the R-8 and pull stub end for 40 holders for the
Snap-Change unit. Now, I only have to bore them and drill/tap the set screw
holes...
