R8 Snap Change

Does anyone know how the R8 Snap Change works? I have one on a
Bridgeport but it's not obvious to me how it functions. There is no
inlet for compressed air so it's not like a regular power drawbar.
Anyone have any experience with this system? Is it good or bad?
