Hi Clint,

Although it's none of my buisness I think you might want to
recalculate the x/y moves for the R-8 taper. I get an x move
of 0.147 over a length of 1.000 in z. Remember that the 16 deg
51 min. angle is the included angle therefore you want half
of that for the angle from the centerline of the spindle.
I would also try for a move which is closer to the correct
angle. A 10 min. difference in the included angle gives a
difference of about 0.0015 in x over the 1 inch move in z.

Please excuse me if I'm wrong. It's happened before but I'd
hate to see someone mess up their spindle.
