the past 5 years working on the Macintosh versions of Outlook
Express, Entourage, Personal Web Server and Internet Explorer.
Microsoft in no way is trying to create a "Windows Only" Internet.
That is a load of bull! Microsoft adds specific unique tags to give
the customer a value added experience while surfing the web. Sure,
some of them suck and some of them are so cool you wish they worked
on every browser on every operating system in the world. It doesn't
work that way. FrontPage may use tags that are only supported by
WinIE, but did you know you can turn off that setting and turn on
compatibility mode. Microsoft should not have to apologize for
creating software that is far more advanced than the competition.
However, it's a double edged sword. If we don't add really cool new
powerful features, people get pissed. If we do add really cool new
powerful features, people get pissed. If we add not so good features
(I'm sure not every machined part you make is perfect either),
people get pissed.
As always.. I will not get into a war about Microsoft on this forum
or any other forum. Now that I said my peace this will be the last I
post about this subject (can we get back to CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO). I erg
everyone out there to make up their own opinion and not believe
everything you read on the internet. Educate yourself and then
create an informed opinion. This whole thing of Microsoft plotting
to take over everything is crap. Their goal is to make people happy
so that those people buy more software and in turn the company grows
bigger and makes more money. Welcome to business.
