A comment on time to install linux related to winxx.
All of my win systems have been extremely stable Why?
because I start by installing on bare system, and rest of cards
one at a time to up date system. a couple of weeks tweaking
.ini files and system registry. monthly system clean ups in win95 & 98
constantly monitoring the registry.
So to install linux if it takes a couple of weeks to get it up and running
whats the difference. learn to control your OS what ever it is.
Don't let your OS control you or yours system.
You want it out of the box go pay someone to tweak for you
and stop crying about.
