Been there done that. worked in a alternator/starter shop for 12 years. i
did make a sleeve to keep the magnets strong. Having worked with an engineer
from U.S. Motors for 3 years helped me do R+d on steppers. I think i
remember how to magnetize the rotors too. cul brian f.
