You pretty much have it. Remember that an encoder tick in this context
is = 1/4 of a line meaning that a 250 line encoder disk will require
1000 ticks to make a full revolution. The only other difference is that
the G340 can use ground as the common to the computer where as the G320
needs a + 5V common.
