Chris,
We passed on connectors recently. I have good service from microphone
connectors that can be had from Radio Shack but, the Radioshack.com
store has the whole collection. The 4 pin and under has the large pins
for 20 to 16 gauge wire size. There are also chassis mounts to get the
male connector. There are no male inline types (make your own backshell.)
The Ham radio tranceivers always use the 8 pin version, good for control
lines.
