Derek,
The Rails right under the table top are 2" X 2", as well as the vertical legs.
The rest of the extrusions are 1" X 2".
I find the "teflon slides" you speak of to be the best used as Adjustable
"Stops" and such as in your Panel Saw Idea. I am sure they would be plenty
accurate for the actual Saw Slide Rail too.
I understand exactly the feeling "I don't want to waste it" and I have let it
pile up in the corner until I built up enough courage to build something. You
might think about this..... It's way to expensive to let lay around !!! Build
something !!
Its not cheap stuff that's for sure. I think the 1"X1" runs close to $0.30 per
inch ! But, it really makes a project work and look nice when its done.
Good thing more of it turns up on E-Bay these days !
