Some words

Hi folks,

I did send an email, and I started to say - Hi flakes, nuts and
lunatics !
Not to offend anyone, - but you all know that I have this Arnieitis
( ask my doctor, Ian :-)

Well, the reason for this outburst, was these personal attacks that
some on this list kept going. It was more like reading Shakespeare -
it was difficult to grasp the hidden insults. ( I really don't want
to comment on any of this, - but .. )

I have a few questions. First of all, I want to thank the list
manager for his answer about starting another list. Try to
understand me here, - I don't intend to break up, or start another
list. ( if you don't force me out in the dark :-)

What I had in mind, was simply if it would be possible to collect
scripts, tar files of patched kernels, and stuff. Something like a
drop box, where we could exchange stuff. I don't know if that is
possible. Maybe these lists will remove attached files, etc. Well,
that was what I had in mind when I asked the question.

Now, back to these argues that went on. Among all the harsh words,
came some pointers to things I would like to discuss. That is, -
how can we help and contribute for the benefits to us all ?

Can we as a group, push things forward in any positive way ?

I have said a lot of crazy stuff, and I have come with some crazy
ideas. Some are maybe just stupid. ( You may call me stupid or
smart, - I don't care. I don't try to impress anyone, nor do I
want to. What I really would like, was that some of you could find
any help or usefulness of what I have to say - even when I am just
silly )

There is many on this list I really like and enjoy listening to.
But I ask myself if any of you find any interest in my inputs ? (
if I am not, then I will consider leaving , or keep my mouth
shut.)

So, my question is : is our chats going anywhere, do we encourage
each other, can we do it better, is there any visions You have on
what we can do - as a group - to reach new hights ?

Let us focus a little bit on this, and get some comments please. (
No one has to be polite or gentle to me, - just speak up if you want
to )

Well, this was another silly note from Arnie, - maybe ? I don't
know what you think, and that is part of the problem. I spend time
on this, on YOU, - at least once in a while, in the hope that some
of you might receive something positive.

Well, speak up ( I know it might be hard ) but let's hear some
visions.
