Hi Gordon,

As the MaxNC probe program generates Gcode, you can import it into
Vector CAD/CAM, which is what I'm doing for a first look. Generating a
PLC file for Vector CAD/CAM would give one a set of points to play
with.

Import into Rhino? What does a Rhino eat? I bought STLworks w/
STLtrans, so I'm leaning in that direction to work with the digitized
data. STLtrans accepts a list of over 25 file types, DXF's and DEM's
look to be immediately useful.

As I recall, one of the MaxNC programs included with probe can generate
a DXF from the Gcode file.

I'm generating Gcode now. DXF's or DEM's are almost as easy to generate
as Gcode, and would be handled by STLtrans.

Just might end up being a useful program.
