need advice on Mother board

I am looking at a "barebones" mailorder 'puter
athalon 1gig,mother board is an ECS K7SEM,with built in video.
I would appreciate any input regards this motherboard. Would hate to
buy something that closes ANY options for control software
i.e.,Master5,EMC,KellyCam etc .
