Hi Chris,
What is working now? Are any motors turning? Can you drive it in jog?
Gecko's are easy to connect up. 24-80v motor power, step and direction
lines from the parallel port connector.
Gecko 201's will take 10X the pulses to move! If you have 4000 steps/in
in your lead screws and stepper, then it'll take 40000 steps to go one
inch!! But it will be SMOOTH!
Does the motor only turn one way? Then insure that you get +5 from
power source, not "stolen" from the parallel port connector.
Several controller programs available, what are you using now?
You might run it down for us a little more; I'm sure we can help!
