If you figure out what the voltage across the windings is when the motor
is wired in star (Wye) configuration, you will find it is 253 V
Line-Neutral.
If you now rewire it to Delta, you still need 253 V across the windings,
which are now in a Line-Line connection. Therefore, the motor must
be run from an approximately 253 V L-L source. There is no motor that
runs on the same voltage in both Wye and Delta connections.
