Hi Ben

First point - Do not use steppermod without commenting out PERIOD first. You
have the 2.09 release, so there should be a comment in the ini file in the
relevant section.

The reason behind the comments about SiS chipsets - Most motherboards, in
particular the ones with on board graphics have been troublesome to install
linux on. The SiS graphics cards that I have tried to use have all failed to
work. I do know of a couple of people running SiS motherboards, but extra
work was required to get them to work.

You might want to try using the mini.ini and mini.run icon - These are geared
towards a minimal setup such as you have. The standard ini files can be
somewhat overwhelming to start with.
