Hi Tony

This depends very much on what desktop and/or distro you are using. For BDI
and Mandrake, the floppy is automatically mounted each time you access it.
RedHat and others require that you, the user, mount the floppy.
In KDE, this done by right clicking on the icon and selecting "Mount" -
Remember to right click and "Unmount" BEFORE REMOVING said floppy otherwise
data will be lost.
