I have 6 pair 20 AWG (individually shielded and drained) wire
(its not on my webpage yet). 20 gauge is good for 7 amps continuous
and so I use it not only for encoder signals, but also singly
(with Gecko 2xx stepper drivers) and in pairs with Gecko 3xx
servo drivers. Over Christmas I'll try to get it (and the
12 pin connectors) onto the web page.

Send me your adress and I'll mail you a sample. It's .4" dia
so its not skinny cable.
