I am using servo motors with my own amps. They are pretty similar to
other analog-input servo amps (servo dynamics, Copley, etc.)
I am currently using the old Servo to Go card, but will be converting
over to my PPMC cards early next year.

I've been cutting metal with EMC and servo motors since mid 1998. I am
not using the BDI, however, as there was some instability in the software
in 2000, and I stopped upgrading at 20-Dec-1999. I am working with
my parallel port servo interface cards using a later version of EMC, and
it appears to be stable, as I ran a machine for 2 days at the NAMES
show. Since I'm doing software development with EMC, I really am going
to try to get my boards running on the current version.
