To any and all

I just wanted to put out to everyone on this list, that I was probably
making a mistake offering up some copywritten material to any of you for
trade for software. After my first install of bdi emc, I came upon
something that will satisfy most of the newbies to gcodn and that is not
copywritten and is free of charge. What I write of is in the emc bdi
handbook. I down loaded it from the site along with a miriad of other site
info about 2 months ago before I knew which direcition that I was going.
When I looked in the hand book I saw what looked familiar and it turned out
to be exactly what I downloaded before to learn a little more on g code. I
highly advise getting the abovementioned material and taking a look at it if
you don't know your g code. The other option is the purchase of a course
like I did. Mind you, the course is really helpfull and has taught me
volumes at only 1/3 finnished. But for what applications are commonly used
in the hobbists rhealm, what you'll get in the handbook is worth its free
price tag by a million fold.
I've had an amazingly high learning curve in the past 3 months and from what
I've seen in the cnc world, I think EMC is the most versitile and powerfull
piece of software for CNC machining avialable. I truly believe that in time
the entire industry of computers and cnc machining is going to be set on its
ear from things like the servo to go card and emc in combonation. In fact,
I believe that all of the people on this list are on the cutting edge of
something really big. Some may not even know it.
Sorry for the rant. And I again apologise for what I offered up. It's kind
of unethical to offer pirated material for trade for more pirated stuff.
