Hi Alan. I have been using the DeskEngrave on my machine for some
time and it works good. I have also added (way too many!!!) fonts
off the net. They have to be ttf's (true type) and I just stuck them
in the windows/fonts folder. Then I type my text, convert them
to .DFX and dump them into my CAD program (autodesk/Quickcad-ebay
$15.00) and organize/size them up and save the finished product as a
dfx. Then I use the Kcam (Kellyware) software to convert to g-code
and run the mill. Sounds a little difficult, but really isn't.
Quickcad and Kcam both use .dfx version 12 so they work well together.
