mandrake 8.1 has a demo version of varicad for i386 linux.

linuxcad is out thee although i have never tried it.

i have been working on a new gnu gpled 3d cad for linux
since january 2001. it is extremely rough and i keep
hacking it for my own use. my goal is to eventually
release it for beta-testing but not anytime soon.
