If you based it on motor rating you are not driving it hard enough. The
motors that I have seen with temperature ratings have been 200 deg F and 60
deg C temp rise. That is hot enough to give some serious burns. I prefer
like Art to drive them at a level they get warm, but not too hot to put your
hand on for a little while.
