Terry -

I've just cut-and-pasted the first line of the description of the
CAD/CAM/EDM/DRO eGroup from the group's home page. It reads:

"This list is for discussion of CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO. This list is aimed at the
construction and use of this equipment in a Home Shop Machinist environment."

The bolding of the words "and use if" is my addition. Discussing CNC
procedures such as tapping, boring and threading sounds to me like it comes
completely within the scope of "...and use of this equipment...".

This stuff is definitely on topic until such a time as we decide to change
the scope of the group. Hence my mystification at the fact that we are
having a poll on it.

If it is Bill's intent to use this poll as a means to change that scope,
then I respectfully request that he re-start the poll with that as his
explicit objective.

Regards,
Tony
