1. my controller will support up to 4 Gecko G320/340s wired to control a
single machine.
2. relays are optional ( although recommended ) and can be added later if
desired
3. the external EStop switch is also optional ( and also recommended ) and
can also be added later
4. the EStop output to the PC is optional ( also recommended - this
getting repetitive ? ) and so easy to implement there's no reason not to.
5. there are a few more purchase options now available at
http://www.sfu.ca/~alan/gecko/price.html
6. there is new source code available for those who wish to roll their own.
If an axis is disabled via switch, at reset the relay for that channel
should remain off. It may glitch, though, turning ON, then quickly OFF,
depending upon a number of conditions. That's now fixed.
7. there is still no User's Manual, and with the Vancouver Canucks on the
tube tonight and the NFL tomorrow, it may be a few days yet. <G>
