Hi Jeff, List,

Just a thought, shouldn't we be using non-integer ratios? This is often
done in gear boxes (I have a 3.4:1 Dayton box, for example), I'm told
it's to reduce the cyclic patterns that ware out the gears? Might it
also reduce the cyclic errors that some have spoke of?

But yeah, I'll use whatever timing belt pullies I have on hand, and let
the computer (controller program) do the math!

That's an RF-31 sized mill? What oz/in motors? Servos? Steppers? (I
think you might have said before).
