Actually, from what I see of the cube it would be a very simple task to
write the g-code as well as to machine the item.
All it is is a series of bores of varying diameters and depths.
Machine one side, flip the part and machine the other.
Fill the machined cavity with a plastic bag full of bondo if necessary for
extra support when cutting other sides.
