Usefull Utility

Hi guys,
Found this very handy utility whils searching the web for info on
sprockets.
It's called Machinist Mate, URL at bottom of post.
As well as accurately drawing sprockets it does the ususal right
angle triangle stuff, Speeds and feeds, compound angles, bolt
circles, sine bar, chords of circles, bending allowances, tapers,
speeds and feeds, material calculator, tap drills and a nifty utility
to work out dovetails based on across roller measurements.
I emailed the guy to see if he would be putting other stuff in such
as gears and user definable tables so you can enter your own
information.
Aparently that's in the pipeline.
The demo is a full 30 day shareware use one with a $15 registration
fee and free updates from then on.
Usual no connection b******t but After using this for just over a day
I sent my money off. If I can be parted from 15 bucks it MUST be good
[Grin}
I know there is freeware out there but this is all in one package and
it looks like the guy will update to suit users for a free lifetime
use.
