Then there is a company in the Czech Republic that has retrofitted a VMC for
the manufacture of aero engines. Or the multitude of small workshops across
North America that run EMC with anything from Sherline mills up to large CNC
routers.

Not wanting to start a flame war... But EMC is the only package in it's class
that will control up to six axes and/or a hexapod.
