I noticed:

INPUT_SCALE= 1000 0

Just a guess but the 1000 equals the steps per inch? What does the 0
represent?

Am I right on this? If not please let me know what is going on here.

On my machine the z axis is much slower than the x and y axis. Does
this mean x and y will be held down to the speed limit of z? I sure
hope not... Can the maximum speed of each axis be set individually?
