Hi Paul,
Before I get back to work, I've got Sanyo Denki 180 oz/in steppers, the
transformers (2 ea) are 28V 6A, giving be about 37V for the 4 G210
Gecko's, the way I'm currently wiring them. In series, that would
double (I wanted to start off easy)!
I'd think one could work from EMC's code and make an Indexer-style
driver. The hard part is getting the steps smooth. Windoz likes to
"steal" time, which makes the steps ragged. If it was a driver for DOS,
you could probably get around that. Or, like art and Carl have done,
use EMC's code to build a Windoz product.
I stated from scratch, about a year ago, and I wrote a DOS controller
program (before I knew about EMC), mostly for my own edification!
