My brother and I have a saying ,.. " What do you have,.. More money or
,.... more time ".
For me it made economic sense to build most of my mill , such as
bearing holders, slide assemblies , frame parts , etc.
However items such as , lead screws,. motors ,controllers, drive
units, I bought.
Because my work load was light and I had the resources at the time the
items I built saved money.

Now to My point !! What difference does it make how I build a cnc
mill/router. At what point am I crossing the "Do it yourself
line!" Was it when I bought my lead screws instead of making them !
