  As I am a 2 finger typer, normally I would be in favor of something 
like voice chat, but, It seems to me that what makes this list so
powerful is it's size and the availability for anyone on the list to
respond in his own time frame to a specific post, and for anyone to
be able to review the posts on their own time schedule. This is why
we are able to exchange valuable info with the brits and others
around the world. The voice chat limits the exchange of info to those
who are available at a given time to be able to chat. The
archivability of the chat is another issue. Voice chat is a really
cool technolgy, but I would hope that for the benefit of the mass, it
would be used for subjects that would be handled off list anyway.
Just my 2 cents worth.
