Marriss;
I am getting ready to convert my rf-31 to cnc and, of
course, will be using gecko drives ! I intend on building my own
power supply and I have noted that there is a fair number of 2:1 step
down transformers that will carry the current i want and are fairly
cheap. However if I do my math correctly (and that is a big if )
then ... (120/2)x 1.4= 84 vdc, and the rated max for the drives is
80vdc. will a 5% overvoltage be a problem or not? Thanks as always
for the help
