If your "phase converter" is of the relay/capacitor type, it is totally unsuited
for anything other than a simple 3-phase motor. Running electronic devices
from it will almost certainly cause problems. Even a rotary converter is not
recommended by most manufacturers, but some people report good luck
with them. You have to make sure the generated line does not vary from
the others by much before connecting the CNC machine.
