I second Jon.
The computer is overkill in this application. wherefore put another
logical device on the machine.
Nearly all Machine manuals give you the instruction to write sub
routines for external devices like feeder. Often there are already some
8 or 16 I/O ports available on the control box. Only the syntax is
sometimes AWFUL.
