Yup, the newer, digital PWM VFD's are truly wonderful! I not only get variable
speed, I also get DC braking, so I get a quick stop without using up the spindle
brake. Also, if the spindle motor stalls (not too likely) I can have a relay put the
CNC control into E-stop.
