Anyone have a spare feednut holder for a j-head manual Bridgeport that
will take 1.560" diameter ballnuts? The ground ballscrew"kit" that I
bought was not exactly a kit. It was in fact just two ground ballscrews
with nuts. I don't want to have to make one. That would involve taking
the Bridgeport apart-measuring what I need and putting it back together
to machine the piece. Now if someone had a "spare" it would surely
simplify the job. Actually, I am also looking for a 42" table. I have a
36" and often need a few more inches of travel. I bought a 42" screw and
will add a spacer until I locate a 42" . Just trying to finally finish
the cnc conversion properly. I had a sinking feeling when the same
individual sold another set and the word "kit" was missing from the
description.
