Hi Nick:
The handles are only a problem in that they'll grind you in the privates
if you're not careful.
They are also utterly useless on a CNC.
(I'll bend over now, for boots to the rear from the unbelievers.)
The toolroom mill is not quite as heavily built as the Minimill.
It can't take the same kind of cut without howling like crazy.
Chip containment and coolant containment are also always a big problem in
small shops.
I drove an unenclosed Milltronics for a while at a toolroom that I used to
work in.
It was the Devil's very own to keep the place clean enough to work,
especially cutting aluminum with flood coolant.
I'm a believer in full enclosures.
Problem is, it's ten grand more but you get the toolchanger too.
I LIKE the toolchanger.
