Ballend: Though I have "been there, done that", I can only claim routine use
of common-sense, what I read in the stepper-makers' manuals, and "what
works". I have cobbled a number of "stepper-motor/PC controlled" CNC
machines over the last 30.

Hope this is useful. Know: I am an ignernt ol' troll without much
eddikashun. But I have made stuff work, and as long as it is earning money
and the wire-insulation doesn't change shape or color, nor blow fuzes, I
don't worry too much about E.E. academics! (Good thing, too, cause my brain
couldn't handle it!)
