you can enable the boot menu
(WINDOWS 95/98/ME)
hold down the F8 key while booting
or
(WINDOWS 95/98/ME)
edit the MSDOS.SYS file
it's a hidden ,system ,read-only file so
first from the dos prompt (dos window) type
BootMenu=1
save it ,exit the editor and type

>ATTRIB -h -s -r MSDOS.SYSthen type
>edit msdos.sysand add or change the line for
BootMenu=1
save it ,exit the editor and type
>ATTRIB +h +s +r MSDOS.SYSon the next reboot when the menu comes up select command prompt only
