No more than the table had originally - the motor to worm coupling is
a zero backlash Oldham coupling. The table is designed to be manually
operated & so doesn't have any special anti-backlash provision other
than the usual stuff - end-float control & eccentric mounting of the
worm.

The table can be locked (manually) - I guess with ingenuity you could
automate the locks...
